VEPVPA is a registered, non-profit society representing more than one hundred thirty Vancouver Elementary Principals and Vice Principals working in British Columbia's most diverse, urbanized and exciting school district. The Association is the recognized agent for all members and is active in providing many important member supports and services including professional development, social activities and legal support and advocacy. Over the last decade we have been active in developing the professional culture, affiliation and voice of our Association.  

Our Mandate

The four goals of the Association identified in our constitution are:

(1) promotion of professional development;
(2) promotion and protection of member welfare;
(3) advocacy for members and for children;
(4) promotion of social contact and activities among members

The Association reviewed and re-affirmed these four goals and set new directions for future development in the areas of:

(1) professional development
(2) legal and economic support;
(3) professional voice;
(4) professional affiliation.
